What's new
- New technician home screen. The app now opens straight into record mode — tap the mic and you're recording instantly, no navigation needed. An inline project picker, a site briefing map, and a tappable stats line (notes / walks / docs) keep the job at your fingertips.
- Fill compliance reports on-site. Contractors can now capture a compliance report without leaving the app: photograph the asset, record a voice note with a live waveform, confirm the step with a photo preview, and submit — all in one flow. A pending-report banner appears on the home screen when a report is waiting.
- Editable scan fields. After scanning a nameplate, invoice, or receipt, every extracted field is now editable directly on the result screen before you save — no need to correct things later in the back office.
- Voice ask navigates to risks, tasks, and summaries. Ask "what are the risks on this project?" or "show me the tasks" and the app jumps straight to the right screen.
- Photos carry GPS to the site plan. GPS is now extracted directly from photo EXIF data on both camera shots and library picks — each photo is auto-pinned to the correct position on the PDF site plan.
Improvements
- Photo picker opens the camera directly instead of showing an action sheet first.
- The stats line hides while you're recording so it doesn't overlap the timer.
- The project picker auto-dismisses once GPS resolves to a project — one less tap.
- Logout moved out of the home top bar into company settings, decluttering the main screen.
- Document scan now uses Vision Camera for better focus and macro support when photographing nameplates.
