What's new
- Task delegation & boards — Create tasks and assign them to field workers or subcontractors. Action items from voice notes and walkthroughs appear automatically as tasks. Managers see a board per project showing who did what and what's still open, with completion tracked by name.
- Fill any protocol field by voice or photo — Any field in a protocol can now be captured by photo scan, voice, or manual entry — in any order. Previously admins had to pre-assign each field to one capture method. Now the technician uses whatever works best on site.
- Delete and re-record voice clips — Made a mistake recording? Tap the X on any voice clip in a protocol to remove it and record again. Works in register rows, headers, checklists, and remarks.
- One-click team invitation — Inviting someone to Workvoice now uses a single smart link that opens the app directly. No manual app-switching or code-copying needed.
Improvements
- Cleaner device screen — After scanning a nameplate, the device info screen now shows only what matters: specs always visible, scan history collapsed to the two most recent entries, empty sections hidden. A shortcut to the device manual appears in the top corner when one is available.
- Ask device questions by voice — Tap the microphone in the device chat to speak your question instead of typing it.
- Tap a past scan to open it — Each entry in a device's scan history is now tappable and takes you straight to that scan's document.
- Admin dashboard search — The search bar now searches across all content types in the admin dashboard. Clicking a task result takes you directly to that task, and tasks now support a calendar due-date picker.
- Simpler walkthrough start screen — Cleaner layout and a bigger start button.
- Android push notifications — Fixed the wiring needed for Android users to receive push notifications reliably.
Fixes
- Voice note not lost when connection drops — If the phone lost signal just as a site note was being saved, the app used to show "processing failed" even though the server had already saved the note. The note now recovers automatically.
- Protocol header fields now fully captured — Some header fields (e.g. "Manufacturer", "Maintenance type") weren't being recognised as technician-filled, so photo scanning and voice recording skipped them. Fixed.
- No data bleed when switching accounts — Signing out now fully clears cached data so no previous account's projects, notes, or devices appear when you sign in as a different user.
- Devices list shows project name — Fixed: the Devices list showed a raw internal ID instead of the project name.
