What's new
- Anyone outside your team can report a fault — Send a building owner, tenant or asset manager a link for a location. They record a voice note or walk through the problem with the camera, and it arrives in WorkVoice as an unassigned task ready for your crew to pick up — no account setup, no phone calls to write up afterwards.
- Triage incoming reports from the dashboard — External reports appear in the attention tab with who reported them and what they said, so you can assign or dismiss them in one place.
- Protocol fields fill offline by voice — The app now quietly downloads a small AI model in the background over Wi-Fi. Once ready, speaking into a protocol field fills it in — even with no signal on site. A thin progress strip shows when the model is downloading or ready to use.
- Push notification when a job is assigned — Field workers receive a notification the moment a task is assigned to them. Tapping it opens that job directly.
- Clearer progress on multi-day protocols — Coming back to a protocol the next day is now much clearer. Answered checklist items collapse to a single line so only the remaining work stays visible. Device registers show an honest count ("12 of 47 done") and tag the last device you filled so you always know where to pick up.
- Reference the previous protocol — A "Previous protocol" button on the protocol hub opens the last approved run's PDF — handy for comparing readings between visits or checking what was done last time.
Improvements
- Notifications log in admin — A new "Notifications" tab in Settings lists every push notification sent: who received it, for which job, and when.
- Ask Workvoice: query your notification history — Ask "who did I notify yesterday?" or "how many job alerts went out this week?" and get an accurate answer pulled directly from your activity log.
- Edit documents on the web — Open any document in the web admin to correct mis-read fields, add a manufacturer name, zoom in on photos, or upload a document straight from your computer.
- Edit team member display names — Admins can now correct any team member's display name. Members can also set their own name in Settings.
- Column filters in admin tables — Click any column header in the Documents, Devices, or Members list to filter by that column's values — no more reaching for a separate dropdown.
- Duplicate a protocol template — Copy an existing protocol in the Templates list to create a variant without re-uploading the source file. The copy starts disabled so you can review it before deploying.
- Spotted insights during walkthrough — A subtle indicator appears while filling a walkthrough if the AI finds relevant notes or prior history for that piece of equipment from earlier visits.
Fixes
- WhatsApp sharing for all team members — Any team member can now share a document to WhatsApp, not just admins.
- Report links open the app — Fixed: a fault-report link now opens WorkVoice directly instead of a dead page.
- Walkthrough recording while reporting — Fixed: recording a walkthrough in the reporting flow no longer crashes, and the audio and transcript are kept correctly.
- Playback of your own report — Fixed: someone who submitted a report can now play back the walkthrough audio they recorded.
